Heavy Duty Flap Valve Pump
Heavy-DutyFlap Valve Pumps
DJ Heavy-Duty Flap Valve Pumps are specially designed for handling solid-laden media, near-pipeline-size solid particles, suspended materials, abrasive fluids, and high-viscosity or high-density materials.

Built for Large Solids and Heavy Slurries
This series adopts a top-inlet and bottom-outlet configuration, delivering superior suction performance compared to conventional air-operated diaphragm pumps.
The flap valve design allows large solids and heavy media to pass smoothly, making it suitable for demanding transfer conditions where conventional ball valve pumps may clog or wear quickly.

Designed for Tough Transfer Conditions
Instead of scattered feature cards, this compact technical list keeps the key selling points together so buyers can scan the advantages faster.
Dry Running Capability
Can run dry intermittently without damage. Since there are no mechanical seals to fail, dry running is common in sump drainage and tanker unloading applications.
Handles Large Solid Particles
The flap valve design allows solid-laden fluids to pass smoothly without clogging, with maximum particle passage size up to 75 mm.
Bottom Discharge
Top-inlet and bottom-outlet design empties the pump chamber with no residual liquid. Gravity assists in discharging sedimentary solids.
Excellent Suction Lift
Capable of a dry suction lift of up to 7 meters of water column.
Rotatable Manifold
The manifold can be rotated 90°–180° for flexible installation.
Fully Bolted Construction
Allows fast assembly, balanced tightening torque, durable fastening and excellent high-pressure sealing performance.
Compressed Air Driven
Easy to install without electricity. Pumps can be grounded for safe operation in explosive environments.
No Dynamic Seals Design
Robust transfer principle without balancing or critical alignment, reducing failure points.
Low Cost, Portable and Easy Maintenance
No rotating shafts, bearings or mechanical seals. Requires only compressed air and can be serviced on-site with minimal training.
Suitable for Solid-Laden and High-Density Media
Heavy-duty flap valve pumps support industries where clogging resistance and rugged slurry handling are critical.
Aquaculture
Transfer of fish fry with minimal damage and high survival rates.
Meat & Poultry
Transfer of hides, bristles, viscera, fat and wastewater.
Ceramics
Clay-based raw materials, quartz materials and ceramic slurry transfer.
Abrasives
Transfer of abrasive materials such as emery with strong wear resistance.
High Viscosity Slurries
Thick slurries, mineral slurries, sludge, resins and high-density media.
Industrial Wastewater
Wastewater with screws, nuts, branches, gravel and large solid impurities.
Coal Mining
Transfer of sand, powders, coal slag and heavy site materials.
Tanker Unloading
Portable air-driven transfer for difficult unloading and drainage applications.
Top-Inlet, Bottom-Outlet Flap Valve Design
Gravity assists in discharging sedimentary solids, helping prevent chamber damage and premature wear.

Large Solid Passage
Maximum particle passage size up to 75 mm, with theoretical range from 25 mm to 75 mm.
Complete Chamber Emptying
Bottom discharge helps remove residual liquid and sedimentary solids from the pump chamber.
Strong Suction Performance
Top-inlet layout supports superior suction lift compared to conventional AODD pumps.
Lower Operating Cost
No rotating shafts, bearings or mechanical seals, reducing maintenance and operating costs.
